Kicking out feet?

Weird question but Mogwai kicks out his feet when walking. It looks like if they step in water and "shake" it, but he does it constantly. I've checked his toes, no litter, not wet, no pain, just nothing. He was on regular litter, but after ruining 3 dozen cookies and 2 batched of dough by using the box and running into the kitchen and jumping onto the bar where we all were gathered with litter on his feet, I moved him back to a pellet litter. Am I missing something, or is it just him being weird?

He sleeps in some weirdo ways.

Aww lol he’s too cute. I do wonder if it’s just the litter and he’ll do better once that’s changed back to pellets. Ellie used to kick her feet when we used grass litter but stopped when we changed to aspen pellets.

is it both feet kicked out? if it is just one, i had a kitty that had a mild knee patella luxation. vet checked it during a routine visit, palpated. no tests. had it all his near 16 years.
most likely the litter, but wanted to share.

@Yoda mom it's all 4 feet at random times. But he's due for his round of leukemia shots so I'll ask the vet to double check. Rather be overly careful.

What a cutie! I think it's litter that makes his shake his legs and not much to worry about. But as you say better safe then sorry, a vet check is always good
