I'm a little bit glad I was away for a while from the SphynxLair, as it's great to read the progression of these posts in this thread. I'm so so relieved that Toby is doing better, and that you finally took care of your finger! Good Lord, woman, what on earth are you doing to yourself? But I understand… Looking after yourself is hard LOL. Those of us who care for others put ourselves last on the list.

I was interested in what you had to say about allergies being really bad. That seems to be such a global thing now. Everyone I talk to has worse allergies, or new allergies that they never had before. The fact that this is also happening in our animal companions is quite concerning. But that's a totally other discussion.

Again, so glad that your household is getting back to normal. Lots of love and hugs your way.

@Xandria , vet said he is seeing ,any pets with seasonal allergies right now-
She said just opening door amd outside air coming in cam trigger reactions -
So went and bought the kitties thosee own purifier !
They sileep together at the end of the bed facing it like they know it's theirs! Lol
(Actually in winter they do this with the tower heater so they prob think it's the same )

@Catzzzmeow , @NinaGato , et al , Sorry for any typos lately - went hacl to doc on Saturday- yes , Saturday hours here in Florida till noon
- he doesnt know what's wrong with my finger hot swollen painful -remove the size of other index finger -
I paid another useless 3 minute total visit bill and more antibiotics . he said he doesn't have a stronger antibiotic than what he gave me that is not working at all -but paid for more on Saturday and only gave me 5 days worth
He shook his head , said "I don't know " amd referred me to a hand surgeon this week
Upon further checking - that "referred to doc" is retired! Geez more calls on Tuesday to get a referral to a "practicing "hand surgeon - Only in Florida! I asked him who he would go to while I was thre amd he said "I don't know, I a, not from here " geez

I personally suspect I may have injured the ligament or tendon when I smashed it in the door s couple of weeks ago and saw stars - doc I saw twice never mentioned this just said hmmm here's very strong antibiotics , Augmemtin, see me in two weeks - I went back Saturday instead bcz it's still the same

Toby is back to Fresh Toby! No sneezing amd fresh as usual ! Climbing on shoulder , jumping on my bald even I scoop boxes amd head butting hard with a smiley grin

Batman is getting A Chlortab a day too for allergies And it is helping! He climbed on Jimmys side for his sphynx
"Spankings" he loves amd purrs so much

Good to hear the kits are doing better now we just need to get you sorted. Hope you can get some answers next week from a hand specialist. And hope you are rating and relaxing this weekend holiday. I know I am!

@Yoda mom when you didn't answer me on Friday, I wondered if everything was ok and you were just busy getting ready to do something fun for the weekend or if your finger got worse!

I'm really hoping it's not a bad infection because if it is, no oral antibiotic is going to get to it! Keep watching for a fever. Grrr!
