Large House to Apartment - Not using kitty litter box.

Hello! My little man, Anubis, who is about a year and half is having some bathroom issues. About a month ago we moved from a three bedroom house where he had two kitty litter boxes to a one bedroom apartment where we only have one kitty litter box. Anubis has been pooping outside of his kitty litter box recently and I am not sure what to do.

I clean the kitty little box daily and it is in a private area. He is still using the same kitty litter and urinates in it just fine.

We are going to put his other kitty litter box in the apartment to see if that helps.

Hello, he might be stressed over the move.
Did you guys set him up with a "base camp" with all of his essentials in one room until he seems to gain confidence and then try letting him out of his base camp area?
Or it could be he doesn't like pooping where he pees. We had a siamese like that, absolutely refused to poop in her pee box. We had two boxes and that solved the issue!!!

I just realized that when we had the two boxes that he did only poop in one and potty in the other. He was all set up with basecamp and he adjusted really well.

Thank you and I hope that the two boxes will fix the issue.

Lenore is the same way - must have 2 boxes. One for #1, one for #2, and they can't be within 10 feet of each other!
