I broke down and bought the litter robot, I gulped at the price but I hear amazing things about it! To never have to scoop kitty litter ever again, sounds like paradise!

I'll have it Friday! Does anyone else use these? Pic for reference

I don't have one, but hope to soon! :)
Someone put up a post just last week about one of these. So on Friday I did a bunch of research, and read reviews.
Even with the high price, people say they LOVE them and have boughten them for family members etc. And that it has changed their view on litter.

I think it sounds perfect, and hope to add one by the summer! :)
Let us know how you like yours!

Well we just got it today. I set it up, but also with a back-up regular cat box. This thing is massive! It comes already assembled thankfully. They have been in it for curiosity but have not used it yet. Will update as time goes on. here are some pics of it. Nala is very curious.

I took away the old box today and they both used it! No problems. I have it set to cycle three minutes after they use it. You can set it to 3,7, or 15. It's like magic! So far I love it! Only issue is they leap out of it after their done. But I bought a super big litter mat.

Today simba found out it moves and it now petrified of it. He tried to poop on my kitchen rug. Simba has always had anxiety issues. We put the regular box next to it to help him transition. He's afraid to even go to that since it is next to the robot. I have put a calming collar on him and I'm going to plug my feliaway diffuser next to it. Simba will just take time. Nala has no problems, she loves it! I love it too. Now I just have to get simba on board.

He still has stress diarrhea. He will now walk past the robot to use the regular box. I've been giving him treats next to it to show him its harmless and I hold him while we watch it cycle together. He puked this morning, so I've suspended the treats thing for today. He's not walking around anxious anymore, he's just avoiding the robot. I'm thinking I can transition him in the next two weeks. It just stinks because I start my new nursing job tomorrow, so I won't have as much time to spend with him to work on it. He's improving; I was expecting a reaction like this, not this dramatic though. Simba has always had major anxiety issues with change. It took him two months to stop being skittish in our new house when we moved last August.

I wish I knew why he's so afraid of it. It's not going to eat him. It's extremely frustrating. This thing isn't cheap. Nala is perfectly fine with it. ugh. I wish I knew how to make him just face it and get over it.

So update: after aversion therapy with Simba, basically just keeping putting him in it, and we made him spend the night in the room with it for a few nights. Simba got used to it and now he's a champ. I LOVE this thing. My cats are on an all wet food diet and I haven't scooped litter once! Granted I clean it with Clorox wipes almost every day, but no pooper scooper! I say buy one!!

@Dallassummer how many cats do you think can use it? If it's not really big, then five cats sharing it would make the litter disappear very quickly I'd imagine, right?

@GoldHazel , @Dallassummer ,
With multiple cats ... Do you keep regular boxes too amd add the litter robot to the litter box count ?
Does your coworker have just one litter robots for multiple cats?
Your review of it is great! My man would love no scooping box though it's my job :)
Not sure I could spring for multiple liter robots for the man cave :)
(He may say we live on planet sphynx if I got 4 or 5 litter robots :) )

Are litter robots best for one or two cat households?

How hard and long does it take to completely washout/ clean?
Warranty?

I have one and I love it. It's he best invention ever. Right next to the SureFeed that I love. It works off the cats microchip to keep the food fresh and the other animals out of it.

You will love the LotterRobot I hope.
