Litter tray

Hi i was wondering how hard it is to get my lil baby to use a hooded/enclosed litter tray?
I haven't picked him up yet... but would like to know what to do before i bring him home.
He is using a standard litter tray at the moment with the breeder, but i would like to use an enclosed one for him.
Will he automatically go and use it or is it something that i have to train him to do?
If it's something that i have to train him to do, may i ask how i can do this?

When you bring him home just start with the lid/hood off of the litter box, and as soon as he is comfortable using the box- introduce the cover.
Put him in there after you put the lid on, and he should realize that is a safe place to go.
