Hello, it could be Pectus carinatum which is a genetic disorder. I would see your vet to see if he or she thinks you should be concerned. Welcome to the group!

Hi there! Yes it definitely juts out a little bit. I would be more worried though if it was concave (pectus cavernosum) because it would squish the organs inside. This is way is way less worrisome. But if you are concerned or it’s affecting normal behavior a vet visit is the safest bet!

Your cutie looks absolutely normal to me. Both our Sphynxies and all our short haired cats have had the same look. I call it the chicken chest.

For what it’s worth, it could also be because he is a skinny kitten. As they grow and stretch and put on muscle sometimes those bony prominences disappear.
