Look who is joining us next month

This little cutie will be joining our home next month! I contacted our amazing breeder about an upcoming litter Sunday night and she shared yes we could pick from the litter that is due, but also that she has a special baby everyone wants but has to go to a certain home that can give constant attention as she is extremely needy so she has passed up everyone so far. She said too bad you like straight ears LOL. I said no do NOT tell me it is the Tortie elf!? She said YES. She said all are special but in all her years there have been a few that just are completely different and over the top needy this one is just like her mommy. Well the rest is history. We have named her Luchi-Chi (pronounced Loo-Chee-Chee) It is nickname I have always called our niece Emily. It means little light/sweetheart full or energy & life. I have been busting for 3 days to share with all of you I am excited that the wait is not long as well LOL. Mid November…no set date yet as it has to be set up with the courier etc.

I am hoping this baby brings balance to the house. Mizuki needs a FT playmate. Martooni is a chill girl (likes to play, but has her limits). Ochi is older and not into being chased around the house. Never thought we would be back to 4 cats, but it just feels right with the dynamics. Here are a few pics the breeder shared with me.

I know you are beaming with excitement... this baby girl struck gold in your hearts and home. your breeder is amazing and meticulous about the right fit.

OMG. I am so excited for you and Luchi-Chi that I forgot my password and can’t see what stop on the bus I’m at. I have been watching the one glimpse I got of that baby. I never realized Martooni was chill…thinking always of tortitude…she surely looks the part !!! God help your house but hold onto your sides, I bet the mirth will overflow. Congratulations!!!!

@Yoda mom I was able to keep it to myself as I have been enjoying @tuffysmom being over the moon and hearing all about Dottie and her journey into the perfect home.

As far as Martooni goes, she is silly and so much fun (my bestie) but she is not crazy like Mizuki. Mizuki literally hangs from the chandelier, trying EVERY morning to pull the pictures off the wall (not kidding) we had to change to nails in the wall and not Command strips to just bouncing off the walls, Martooni is quite chill LOL.

@Catzzzmeow , lets hope Mizuki doesn't tell Luchi-Chi to play recking ball song to share swinging off chandelier together! Keep some extra nails on hand for those photos! you should email command hooks with a review "Not Sphynx proof ! "

Our breeder normally sends pics to people who are getting kittens every 2 weeks. LUCKY us we must have been on the right week to get lots of pics. Here are a few. Still waiting for the courier to share dates that work for her and then we can confirm date/time. I am of course chomping at the bit to set up insurance and wellness check, but I just have to go with the flow.

Looks like Gotcha Day is November 9th if flights go as planned. I know with any type of travel these days it is not set in stone.
