Aloha!

I've had Sphynx cats for well over two decades. I even ran a boutique breeding operation for several years, essentially for friends who fell in love with my gremlins.
After returning to the USA about five years ago, I am now exploring adoption opportunities for my most cherished breed of cat. I come across a lot of dead websites and some questionable breeder operations, to say the least. I'm also astonished at the prices some people are asking for adopting purebred babies.

Nevertheless, I figured I would reach out to this community now that it is back online, and I just found out today.

Thanks for the follow-up. I live on the Suncoast in North Port.

I reached out to nearly a dozen breeders and was astonished at some of the prices, and several others never responded.

With that said, I've been in touch with two reputable breeders—.

Unfortunately, I don't have that much extra cash available, and it will be a while at this point due to unexpected, significant medical and home expenses back-to-back.

@Spartan , hugs , stay active with us and check often. (sending well wishes for you health and that home expenses settle, I can relate to back to back sudden expenses recently)..

I do have to edit out breeder names as we can't mention on main page. we can PM reputable breeder names .

****please be sure to research. **** I always google cattery names and complaints, check complain boards for patterns.

the fraud tips link and reputable breeder link has great info and tips when looking at breeder and ads in cyberworld..

stay active with us, over the years as a member I see FL rehomes come up on SL more frequently than other states.

Thanks for the follow-up, and no worries about the edit. I get it.

I spent about six hours researching and reached out to two shelters for information.

Nevertheless, I'll stay active, especially once I have a baby or preferably two, due to the companionship needs.
