Hi guys, I'm Matt.

I lost my leg in combat operations in Ukraine in 2022. I don't have much of any family left, and I live by myself.

The house is a bit large for one guy with one leg. And I would love some companionship. I grew raising all types of animals imaginable (ranch life), but I always loved my cats' personalities.

I've always wanted a sphynx and I think adopting one that I could give all my attention to would do my heart some good.

Good luck on your search…it’s definitely important to research. There are many backyard breeders and scammers these days. Hoping this info helps you.

Welcome to SL…thank you for your service!

I joined here with my first and never looked back. never hesitate to ask questions. I have all adoptees and always try to help hearts align.

Thank you all so so so much for the warm welcome.

Luckily for me, I have done some research beforehand, and that's why I came HERE first.

I currently live in Cortez, right by the 4 corners. I lived in Denver for a decade before going overseas.

I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone, and I'm manifesting hard for the right opportunity.

@MissingLegMatt , sharing too the maximum rehoming fee on sphynxlair is $250 each or less.
sharing another resource that worked for me , I reached out to a reputable breeder in my state and adopted a wonderful 2 yr old retiree who came HCM heart scanned, spayed, fully vetted. her mum and I are friends ever since. my ClaireBare is 15 now!
often times retirees are about $600 rehoming fees from reputable breeders (usually a fraction of the cost to the breeder when imported /purchased with breeding rights).

I never knew about "retirees" and wanted to share the option . be sure to read the "reputable breeder " and fraud tips links shared by admin above,

dont hesitate to PM any cyberworld ads for an extra peek for red flags. There are very creative cyberworld scammers out there that will copy paste pics, health certificates etc and ask for western union payment etc.
