@Hairless Blessing due to my job, we cannot spend the night at a hotel like we did with the girls. We will leave in the morning drive 4+ hours, drive back and stop at the vets for a 60 appointment and then home. A long day for sure but so excited.

@Catzzzmeow and @kdmotter hope christmas will be over soon so your gotcha days will be closer. It reminds me of the gotcha day of my boys two years ago. Gotcha Day was december 27. So that year all I wanted for Christmas was it to be over. I enjoyed the meals and being with family, I liked the presents I got but still only wanted the days to past so I could get my boys. No snow with the christmas days that year but there was snow on gotcha day. So much snow that I doubted if it was okay to drive alone with my boys. But then my dad called me and said he would drive me. I was so happy I cried cause couldn't wait a day longer!!

So this year I'll hope christmas will be over soon for you both.

I hope I didn't say something that can be understood in a bad way. I mean that I hope it's gotcha day for you soon and to be gotcha day christmas needs to be over.

We leave very early tomorrow to pick up our boy. The weather looks yucky so trying to dodge the snow and hope it turns to rain quickly. Vet practice called to confirm our 60 pm appt......will take us early if someone cancels. Our Christmas present is ready for pick up. Will share pics tomorrow night.

Southern NJ @Amy Ritchison gps always says 3+ hours but always 4+ with traffic. Nothing like Jersey...lol. We will just roll with it. I plan to drive and hubby will do the cuddling. We are ready ....yikes our boy is coming home!!!!!! Thanks for the positive comments.

Oh my goodness! I have hardly been on the site for a couple of weeks, I've been so busy with work and just things that get in the way of sitting down to some sphynx concentrated time, but I finally do and wow, gotcha day is today!
