Maybe herpes :( my poor kitten Sparti

Brought home my 3 month kitten Spartacus a few weeks ago to our dismay he had a cold Then a week later got an eye ulcer

Been at the vet every 2 days for over a week....I asked to test him for the herpes virus on his recheck Monday!

I keep seeing posts about lysine I think its called. Anyone have suggestions? Right now hes on Ofloxacin drops 6x a day and amoxicillan 2x a day.

I love my new baby and hopes hes well soon and pray he has a clear check on Monday!

L-lysine is not really a medicine, it's a supplement that boosts the immune system and is also used to keep herpes under control(with people it's also helpful to prevent cold sores). You give it regardless of what medicine Sparti is on. You can buy it on Amazon or at health stores.
