Prudence looks like a blue cream with white mink, to me. Her beautiful eyes are what makes her a mink. She has the blue, no doubt about it; it's easy to see on her lower legs and ears. The cream is a knockout on her face, can't miss it. And she has that big white spot on her face too.

It looks like the picture was taken with a flash or in fluorescent light and I suspect that has "washed out" a lot of the color. Her body still looks blue/cream, I think.

When you look at her paw pads, are some areas pink and other parts blue?

What a beautiful girl. I love the pictures. She looks so sweet. She could not ask for a better loving home.

Her paw pads are exactly as you described. The blue parts are a warmer blue than the markings on her body. I almost thought they were brown at first, but I definitely see the distinct presence of blue in there.

There wasn't any flash or fluorescent light, but the sun was coming in very strong in that room. Here's another one where you can see the back of her in low light. She's dirty right now on her head and underside... tomorrow will be the first time I bathe her.

Well, if I was registering her I'd call her a blue cream and white mink. The last picture really showed the blue mottled body. She's the same as my Pedda except my girl isn't mink (her eyes are green). Lol, mine was sold to me as a dilute calico but she isn't because the color proportions are wrong - she's blue with mottled cream and white, not white with distinct patches of cream and blue.

I expect you'll see Prudence's colors become deeper, more intense, as she gets older. She'll also change color this summer if she spends a lot of time laying in the sun (will probably develop dark brown patches where some of her blue is right now).

She's a lovely girl!

M2M is right. If her eyes are aqua she'd be a blue cream with white mink. If they're blue she'd be a blue cream with white point.

She is a point then so she will get darker.

s

I think she may even turn into a torti like your Wrinkles. I'm starting to see a darker speckled blue through her spots and in a lot of areas there really isn't a definitive line from the blue into the cream.

If she starts getting red then she will be a Torti.
I bet she will get prettier.
I think she is a Thermal.

Hate to disappoint you but she isn't going to turn into a torti. A torti is black with mottled red. And even when Prudence's blue darkens she's still going to be blue - it's not going to magically become black. And her cream will also intensify with aging but it's not going to become red.

Dilutes darken with age, it's just the nature of them. But a blue cream isn't going to become a torti because of normal aging changes.

Marlene,
Just an update on Prudence's color. She's starting to get some strawberry blonde patches on her head and in between her eyes. Is she still considered a blue/cream now?

Awe, Prudence says thank you!

Thanks on the brows. I actually do them... or well, other peoples I mean, for a living.

I have to admit, mine are like two caterpillars crawling on my forehead at the moment :( I need to find someone to do them for me, I'm chicken to try it myself.

Too bad you're to far to come to me. Just a suggestion though, if you find someone good to wax and tweeze them, then once they start growing back in, you can easily follow the lines they created. Much more cost effective :)
