@Yoda mom Yes we are getting so excited. I do have a new update! The breeder has been really stressing about finding a home for her sister, a bambino blue tabby girl, because Sylvanas will be heading to us soon. I'm not a huge fan on the look of bambinos but they offered to give me a discount if I was willing to keep the girls together... so now both girls will be heading to us on next weekend! I think this will work out great because they are so bonded and Sylvanas will have another kitty to play with and snuggle with until they can both meet our dogs and get used to each other. We are still throwing names around and right now have nailed it down to Valeera and Vereesa but I keep going back and forth. Anyone have any input?

Here is a picture of the two of them playing. The bamboo girl is the first kitty and Sylvanas can be seen at the end of the video.

Wow congratulations with getting two cuties! Valeera/Vereesa is beautiful, just like Sylvanas. Love the stripes on her tail. Two kittens is so much fun. You can watch them play for hours while your heart is melting.

Just got word from the breeder that their flight is booked!! Saturday can not come soon enough! We also finalized the bambino's name and will call her Alleria. The breeder also sent me some more pictures

The girls are in the air and on their way home. I have been doing homework and switching back to the flight information to stalk the plane, lol. They will be making a pit stop in Washington before heading home to me later this evening. It's going to be a long day with lots of flight stalking, lol!! I can't wait to get my hands on my babies!!

OMG!!! I'm am freaking out right now!! I just checked their status and they cancelled the flight!

They are now stuck at the airport. The breeder is working on it but I am freaking out!

@lizzybether stay calm. Did they cancel the flight due to weather? They couldn't have taken a non-stop flight?

Our airport is smaller so no non stops from LAX. It was cancelled due to air traffic control conditions impacting flight operations

@lizzybether oh no ! Your poor girls. And poor you. This mist be so frustrating. Hope you'll find a way to get them home with you soon

@GoldHazel Yes they are in DC. It just got off the phone and they have changed the flight to one in the morning. Apparently it was due to bad weather that disabled the traffic control operations. The airport is a pet safe airport so they have a nice kennel to keep the girls in (they will take them out of the carrier and put them in the larger kennel) where they will feed them with food provided by the breeder. They will hang out there for the night and then be off here first thing in the morning. I'm not wild about it and neither is the breeder but its the only option and according to her breeding partners this has happened rarely in the past and all has worked out fine.
