Memorial Day!!!

Is anyone planning anything good for the long weekend?
Would love to hear all your plans.

We are gonna hang home and hopefully get the pool clear and not the blue/ green color it has been.
Other then that my dad and brother are going to visit and hopefully we have lots of sunshine!

These days, every day is a holiday for me (retired early)... No special plans, just putz around and hope for sun and warm weather. Our pool opens this weekend.

We are going to put some ribeye's on the grill and make some twice bake potatoes, have family over and pig out:Laugh: I don't get to eat steak as much as I would like so I will savor every bite. We're having a barbecue at our house on Saturday, mainly for my niece's graduation from college. Sunday will probably leftovers and Monday will be sleeeeeeep, lol. It's been a rough week.

Bob and I have car shows to attend. Tonight is cruise night in Downers Grove. Sunday car show Orland Park and Monday car show in Naperville. If we get rained out then we have plenty of options ... see the Jellies at the Shed, play at the museum or numerous other activites that stimulate the mind and delight the senses! But the best if just being together!!!

Will get to have long weekend with my husband, that's great.
Will be having Cookout Monday. Going to Emerald Isle next
Saturday for a week, can't wait. Soooo looking foward to it.

Argh... been sick all week. I'm just grateful to have the 3 days off from work. If I'm feeling better, I'll probably grill up something for us; perhaps the pork tenderloin that is sitting in my freezer. Great for marinated pork medallions, some corn on the cob with a nice salad. Hopefully my tastebuds are working by then

I'd love to get in a few chess games with my boys, watch some movies & work on a photo of Boone for the Memorial Day Contest Hoping for good weather too. We can't seem to shake the fog past couple of days.
