Missing pet crab?

I have posted here a couple of times and we have one Cornish Rex girl and one Sphynx boy. Well the other day when I was cleaning out our little 10 gal fish tank that the cats love to watch I noticed my little crab was gone. I keep a lid over a hole that is in the top of the tank because the crab has escaped one other time but Sophie is always batting the lid off. I fear that the canned ocean whitefish wasn't enough for my cats and they wanted fresh sea food. I have searched everywhere for our little friend and he is nowhere to be found. All I hope is he didn't have to suffer though endless batting and pouncing and throwing around before someone ate him. Just wanted to share my story.

Oh poor mr crab. My roommates cat ate my gerbil. Then he threw up for 2 days. Kinda serves him right.

Our to like to fish watch, it is probably the only reason we still have a fish tank, it is the cats entertainment..
We used to have a hamster but after being knocked off the table and chased by the cats 100 or so times well he is no longer with us.
