Mizuki was spayed today

Today was spay day for Mizuki. Her incision site looks great. Now to keep her quiet…yeah right LOL. Note…many can have quite a bit of bruising (she has little bruising) …be sure to talk to your vet on what to expect after surgery and follow the doctor’s orders. Any concerns, be sure to reach out to your vet ASAP and do not wait.

We have had some bruise really bad…mostly boys though. I was very pleased to see this initial look…might be worse tomorrow. I know my own bruises are worse day 2 lol. Just happy it is over and she is home. Hope all is well with you and the family.

@Aryasmum thanks for asking. She has been quiet today (so happy) site looks great. We have kept her in our bedroom most of the day to prevent her from jumping and doing crazy kitten stuff LOL. We have brought her out here and there and snuggled with her throughout the day. A vet tech called today and asked how she was doing and shared how she was just the best little girl yesterday…so far so good. Tomorrow we will see if she is back to crazy antics.

So nice they called to follow up. My yoda healed quickly however she was go go go like she never had surgery, she kept me on my toes with no jumping.

She is doing well. We are still limiting her to the bedroom most of the day. Her discharge papers say to carry up and down stair and not to tell her roughhouse with other pets and no jumping. This morning was her last pain med. I ordered a second recovery suit (same one) and she has to wear that 10-14 days. Pretty sure we are going with the 10 LOL. Yesterday I had her in a harness/leash downstairs so she was with us but not allowed to roam free and jump. She did well for it being her first time. She lounged around in her bed and just stared at me LOL.
