Can I ask what you feed your kittens?
I just got the Natural Balance yesterday, so Baby Harley hopefully will lose the hair he has. He loved his taste trail so much he was climbing the cabinets for more. LOL

Well thats a hard one...lol....Bells has loose poo issues so I am trying new ones....Right now I'm trying Science Diet.....Now I'm not a Science Diet fan at all, but I have a few friends that love it so I thought I would give it a try...At this point I would feed him wood chips it it would make his poo solid...:Dizzy::LOL:.......They have been on it for not quite a week so I don't know how it's working yet.....Big Hoss could(and does) eat anything!

He STILL doesn't have solid poo? I thought you got it solid there for awhile. I have just recently gone back to raw and we are still transitioning as far as getting used to it.....if we eat too much we vomit, and sometimes the poop isn't solid yet either. Changing diets is rough on their little tummies....I think Mike, El Gato Loco, wrote that it took Ball at least six months on the same food to finally firm up.
Moody has decided now that he doesn't like the raw. He vomited the other day after he stuffed his gut and now he won't touch it. So I have to open a can of wet for him....I think I tried to transition to the raw too quick since they used to eat raw....and now I have turned some of them off to it because it made them throw up. Moody ate it like gangbusters in the beginning, and now won't touch it. Can't try to force the issue so, will begin adding a tiny bit of the raw to his wet and slowly slowly increase it. Will be glad when the raw does it's magic. How much do you feed Bells and Hoss? Sometimes if they are eating too much, they get diarreah. When he was here, he kept getting into the Science Diet i/d that I was feeding Lulu at the time. And his poop was solid then.....so maybe you're on the right track. Hope it firms up soon.

Nope..He was solid for the first few days he came from you...Then I changed his food and he hasn't had a good solid poo since then....I have tried everything (except raw). I don't even give them canned anymore. Only dry and it's free feed. He did get better(from thin pudding to peanut butter) when he was on meds from the vet but within a week of going off the meds he was back to mush...Vet has run every test in the world and says he's as healthy as a horse.....SOOOOO it has to be a food issue.....Poor guy, I feel bad for him:Cry: but he really doesn't care.

Susi794.... to entice them to eat raw, I've used some tricks some raw members gave me to sprinkline on their food.

1. Bonito Flakes (dried tuna) Spockie goes NUTS over it...
2. Dribble tuna packed in water over the raw....
3. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top....

All three of worked and now I just do it for a treat now and then.. Spock still throws up but I don't worry about it anymore. He puke when the moon is blue, or there is two of them, or there is no moon... It's just what they do! You're right too, that they'll puke when they eat too much too but it doesn't seem to phase Spockie at all... I have a bunch of Bonito Flakes if you'd like me to mail them up to you... let me know... 1 bag will last you forevah!
