Mrs Bigglesworth - My little resuce sphynx kitty

This is the sphynx kitty my boyfriend and I got about a month ago. We are totally in love with her. I have had cats my entire life but there is definitely something special about sphynx's

Its a really strange story. A friend and I were at a gas station in this little town in Indiana called mount comfort. While waiting out in the parking lot I saw an extremely drugged up/homeless couple pull into the gas station in an old ford bronco. I was staring at the dirty windows and the next thing I saw was a little sphynx kitty looking out. I immediately knew i had to have it. As soon as the couple came out of the gas station store I asked it they would take $50 bucks for her, they said $40 would do. They handed the sun burnt, dirty and scared kitty over to me and I fell in love. As soon as I got her home I gave her a bath, cleaned her ears and fed her lots of treats. I took her to the vet the very next day and got her all her shots and got her spayed. The veterinarian and vet techs were amazed at my story and amazed at how healthy she was despite her former living conditions. At first she was a little skittish and didn't want to eat much but now its an entire other story. She loves to eat her yummy holistic cat food, eat her greenies treats, jump on the keyboard while i'm on the computer, play with all her cat toys and sleep under the covers with my boyfriend with I. Needless to say, she is now arguably one of the most spoiled cats in the world.

Wow! That is so awesome. I wonder how the homeless looking people ended up with a sphynx? They are not that easy to just come by. Amazing. You and her were very lucky! I'm glad you were able to save her from a bad situation and give her a great home! You definitely were in the right place at the right time.

WOW, it was ment to be! Talk about being in the right place at the right time. Who knows where she'd be with out you today. I love your story. She is the luckest Sphynx around!
I found my two on a Craigslist add and they were living in a home where the dog attacked my little male. The house was a mess, the cats were filthy, and now they are the most spoiled ever!

You will love this site, I am addicted to it! lol Like many others here. =)
