Mudd Update (from Jess' Facebook Page)

Greetings fellow Lairians,

I realize that not every Lair member has a Facebook page, so this is the Mudd health update from Jess' page:

Mudd's regular vet worked her into today's schedule.
Mudd has pyometra and is having surgery at 9 AM tomorrow.
Mudd was never spayed, and has never been in heat.
The Vet's office says she should be okay. It hit her really fast; but, it was caught in time.
The vet said the bacteria was from the UTI Mudd already had and could've gotten into her lady bits. The antibiotics Mudd's been on has probably kept it at bay until now.

Jess is really upset and blaming herself.

But thank God that Mudd is going to be okay, so please ladies and gents of the Lairily please keep the Lair prayer chain going! I really think Mudd and Jess could both use them right now!!!!

Can't wait for the update tomorrow! So happy to hear they squeezed Mudd in. I have not been able to stop thinking if that baby in pain.

I hope she's not blaming herself anymore. There was no way to know that by not having Mudd spayed this would happen one day.
I am praying that everything will be perfect after surgery tomorrow.
