Well, I 1st saw Sheldon's photo on January 9th and after 92 emails back n' forth with the breeders and numerous phone calls.... he arrives tomorrow afternoon after 4 p.m.!!! The day before Valentines Day! So, I've had to wait just over 4 weeks for him. I know that is not a lot of time as compared to what others here have endured... but I got through it, and it wasn't so bad after all. For all of you that are still waiting, my best advice to you is to stay busy!

Between mandatory overtime @ work, trying to get my car fixed and preparing for Sheldon's arrival, I haven't had much time to visit here in a few days. I have everything that I need for him, and his 1st vet visit is scheduled for this Tuesday. I will be sure to post some pics of him asap!

I am beside myself with happy anticipation and nervousness. He will be departing his breeder's home after 8 a.m. and his flight won't arrive until 8 hours later. He was born on Oct 24 last year, so he is just a lil' guy. I won't be able to rest easy until I have him in my possession. I just want to cuddle and start loving him!

Please everyone... wish my baby, Sheldon a very safe flight tomorrow from Texas to Rhode Island.

Sharon--is he flying cargo? I'm sure the temp in Texas is fine, but isn't Rhode Island cold right now? I worry about how long he will be sitting uncovered out on the tarmac? How cold the cargo hold is? I will pray very hard that they get him into a heated facility very quickly and that he arrives to you safe and sound. You may want to ask the breeder to put a warm sweater on him. Let us know ASAP when you get him home. I will be worrying every second until we hear from you.

It actually just got cold in Texas!!! It's 36 at my house outside Houston. It's even colder in Dallas where baby Sheldon is coming from and it's sleeting around that area as well today!! I don't like it :-(. I hope he stays warm!!!

Good luck Sheldon. I wish you a safe, comfortable and uneventful journey to your new home with Sharon, Boone and everyone else. You are very lucky to go to such a good home where your mom will share your life with lots of people that care about you.

Don't worry too much Sharon, it will make you crazy! I'm excited to hear all about little Sheldon and see pics.

Ugh, yes. I got a call from the breeder last night. They were getting snow/ice /rain mix, & he said it would be below freezing down there this morning. The flight was cancelled, so he rescheduled it for this Wednesday late afternoon. Thanx for your concern, Susi. Much appreciated:Smile::ThumbsUp: Another 2 days wait:ThumbsDown:

I love income tax return time! :ThumbsUp:Otherwise, I could never afford to buy a Bambino. His flight has been cancelled, so now we're shooting for this Wednesday. Warmer temps in TX & here in MA.

Aww, thank you. His arrival has been delayed until this Wednesday when the temps will be warmer. I'll post pics asap!

Yes, the breeder notified me 9 pm. last night. He rescheduled Sheldon's flight for this Wednesday when the temps will be warmer both in TX & up here in MA. Thanx for your concern.:Smile:

He is coming this Wednesday instead of today. It was way too cold to ship him today. I'm a nervous wreck. Thanx so much for your concern.:Smile:

Aww, thank you, sweetie. His flight has been rescheduled for this Wednesday. It was too cold in TX & here in MA to ship him today. Another 2 days wait.:ThumbsDown: Crazy? What's crazy? I'm beyond that & sick to my stomach as well:Woo:

While you're praying for Sheldon, say a lil' prayer for me as well...please n' thank you... to give me patience. Ugh, his flight was rescheduled to Wednesday, because it was too cold today. Thanx for your well wishes. Much appreciated.:Smile:

I can't wait for those 1st moments! Sorry, but the pics will have to wait until this Wednesday. His flight was changed, because it was just too cold to ship him today. Waaaahhhh
