My hairless cat puddin has chewed the end of her tail so badly it looks like you can literally see the bone at the tip. When we first noticed it we thought maybe it had gotten slammed in a door or something like that but the more we've watched she's been chewing it non stop. We have 4 dogs and 4 other indoor/outdoor cats that interact with puddin and im reaching out here first before we take her to the vet hoping for some advice. Please and thank you in advance.

Sorry to hear of this. You can type the word hyperesthesia in to the search bubble and read up on what might be what your baby has. Here is just one link you can scroll through. Scroll down in it as one member was great in sharing their personal experience in this link I share. The Feline hyperesthesia?

I would definitely seek your vet quickly to get their diagnosis. Please update us. Your info can help others in the future.

Hello. Most often this is caused by hyperesthesia, and can sometimes lead to a need for amputation. How are things looking now?
