My dad's 7th heavenly anniversary. holding treasured memories close to heart.

7 years ago today my dad, Henry, passed away. (I have always thought how ironic he got his angel wings on the date (727) like the boeing planes we would fly on back in the day.

I treasure the memories. One I treasure most is this 1982 letter from my dad on graduation. I have carefully packed and carried this with me through life from NY to Colorado , to Seattle, to FL.

Today, having that cup of coffee my dad would always say he was making "coffee to die for." we shared that last cup together 7 years ago. Rest in Love dad. you live in my heart forever and ever.

my nickname for my dad was "pooh bear". I gave him a stuffed pooh bear and a Dad plaque many years ago. It was still set up in his home after all the years. I miss him dearly and proud to call him my Dad.

I read somewhere that every time we think of a deceased loved one it is because they are telling someone in heaven about us. I am sure your dad misses you as much as you miss him and he is singing your praises in heaven.
