Oh my gosh, I guess I wasn't thinking about the timeline of things as I've been a bit out of sorts with stress lately so that was not at all what I was expecting when I clicked on your link :Laugh:

Thanks everyone. Yes it is a big litter - 6, especially big for a first litter. The breeder had a litter last week with only one girl, I hope this one isnt all girls...lol

The kits should be born around the 13th, but they could go a little longer. My kit will not be identified until about 8 weeks of age. The breeder likes to wait until their personalities develop a bit to help match them with the right parents. As well, it cuts down on a lot of heart break if a kit happens to be lost as can often happen.

I am very excited and nervous. I want everything to go smoothly but it is a first litter....Dad is red, Mom is a Seal Mink
