So last week I was hired at a new job. Which is much cooler than my old one. I get more hours, a cubicle and I don't have to dress like a teenager (I worked in a teens clothing store). I'm a website coach now, I help people market and build websites.

One of the job requirements is to make a website so that I can learn to use the program and market it and such. So of course I'm making a website dedicated to Alice, and Sphynx's. Though before anyone gets mad, it's NOT going to compete with Sphynxlair, it's not a forum. It's an informational site with pictures, a blog and a gift shop. And I'll be linking to Sphynxlair quite a bit so that I can send traffic here. :BigSmile: I promise I'm not stealing any ideas or causing MORE drama.

Anyway. I'm wondering what you, as Sphynx people would like to see on a site about our precious nakeds? I have an information page about them, where they came from. I'll have one about their care, I have a gallery for guests to upload pics, I have a blog from Alice's point of view to talk about the general Sphynx life stuff, and an Amazon store (required for the job lol) with Sphynx products (food, toys, trees, ect). And a few links to other beneficial sites (Sphynxlair is one of course).

So if I'm not around much for a bit, it's because I'm working a 9 to 5 now. I like this job though, I have a cubicle! And now I can afford everyone's heart scans (finally!).

Congratulations on your new COOL job. I would love to see your site when you have it up and running. Streaming sphynx video would be awesome. Sphynx 24/7. Grooming, eating, sleeping, playing. :LOL::LOL::LOL:It would help my addiction.:Smile:

Congratulations on your new job! It sounds like you will do great there. A page that shows some of the best videos of Sphynx cats/kittens would be great. Right now I'm picturing that Youtube video of the sphynx kitten laying flat on it's back, sleeping, with it's paws, back and front, twitching and shaking in the air. That video is hilarious with tons of views. Well, Good Luck! I'd love to see the site when you are done.

A video channel! What a great idea!

I should find Sphynx videos on youtube and post a Sphynx channel. I'd have to get owner permission of course, but that would be awesome. I could even make a few of Alice and Dita when I get a camera. Bath time, play time, nap time. It'd be great! :BigSmile:

I am somewhat familiar with building web sites. I used to have several of them. I quit paying the bill so they were taken down. I had one I called zoneloco that I dedicated to Butterball. I had one called mikeyrules, milwaukeesbeast, zoneloco and theblackguards. If I would have known what I know now, I would have kept them going. I was getting over a thousand hits a day and it was growing fast. I could have started placing ads and actually had an income.

Anyway, I'd be glad to help if my skills can be utilized.

Any baby vids I still have up on Youtube- you are more then welcome to use...

This is what I like to see on a Sphynx site... Info about health, info about showing, info about care, info about how to choose a good breeder, info about products that you have personally used (uh- or your cat) and can recommend... I like links to other Sphynx related stuff, a link to the show schedule, etc...

But that's just me!

Thanks! I'll have to get your Youtube name so I can feature some. I love baby Sphynx videos!

I know I'll have info on health. HCM especially, and some "how to choose a breeder" information.

I know nothing about showing so I couldn't do that, unless some of you show people here can help me out.
