Well, we got our clean bills of health from our vet and two of the babies will be going home on Saturday. Philbert will go home on the 15th. I will miss my little bag of mixed nuts.
Oh! Philbert! I thought about him the other day. Your first video of him (with another wonderful voice over!) posted here stole my heart! Al of these babies are adorable. I hope their new families will spoil them rotten! It must be so hard to let them go.
Actually, they are terrors! They run through the house, climb my legs til they are bloody, want on my lap constantly, but kiss me and purr and look so darn cute I can't take it. You have to start with the mindset that they belong to somebody else......I am just trying to give them a good start. And their new mommies and daddies will give them a home filled with love.....and that is everything!
Awwwww, Susi! As usual, you have another great crop of new terrors to make their families' lives wonderful!!! That was one of the things I loved about breeding Siamese many years ago. It is really special to be able to provide these little lovers to people. Are there any more in the pipeline, so to speak?
I do love them, Patti! But they are naughty little buggers.....they jump on and bite the adult cats all the time and there is always somebody hissing at one of them. They tag team wrestle the adults.....LOL
Aweh! So Sir BooBerry Syrup is singing operas of oppression in not being able to fulfill his life's dream of furnishing your house in wall to wall kittens????
Awww they are so cute!! I asked my breeder if she gets sad when the kittens go to their forever homes, and she said something along the lines of "No - usually by the time they're old enough to leave, I'm looking forward to having a quieter house... but mostly I'm just so excited for them to meet their new families. I tell the kittens they're gonna have so much fun!"
Oh I love these little guys! I watched all your videos on youtube. Seriously, Im not a stalker, well maybe I am! I stalk your videos cause your kitty voice just makes me smile and laugh out loud! I feel like I know all your cats. Hahaha
Yay for healthy babies! I just know that they're going to make their families so happy
And I hope you can get some well earned rest so those scratches on your legs heal up nicely before people start to think something really strange is going on in your house lol!
I can't wait to see the gang. And enjoy your extra time with Philbert!! Glad they're all healthy and ready to come home. I think it's going to be bitter sweet
Sorry about the long absence everybody.....I promised Tom and Heather I would try not to be such an old coot about not liking the new format. I miss the old look, the old intimacy---but it won't get better for me until I make more of an effort to accept it like it is. So, I am back. I never totally left--but it was not like my usual amount of time on the Lair. For sure! It all looks so little. I have got to quit grieving for the old....there is a new dog in town now. But I am basically now an official Old Fart. Someone who hates changes. I should wear a brown paper bag over my head from shame. :bag:
That wasn't the only reason I wasn't on much---I have a long distance love with whom I am carrying on a sweet, cheesy, corny, syrupy, (but I have to admit, I like it!) love affair. He is far away and I was spending a lot of time chatting with him. But fear not, I haven't abandoned the Lair.........again I will wear the bag of shame :bag:. I still adore my Sweetie....he is such a cheesy romantic, he makes my heart happy. But so do all of you. So let the love fest with me and the Lair continue!(yyy) Even if I do hate the new format----hear me not complaining??????:dead:
@susi794 So are you saying you don't like the new format? LOL...just giving you a hard time like you would expect. Your knowledge is priceless and your heart is huge. You know how I feel about you and I know I am not alone. I am so happy you are giving the new format a go!
