My sphynx, Squid, is 10 months old and his siamese brother, Max, is 10 years old. I wonder if I made a mistake getting Max a kitten brother. Squid attacks Max nonstop. Max does not appear to enjoy the "playfulness." He hisses, growls, yowls, and runs away. At first, I thought Squid was just a kitten who wanted to play. I think Max is miserable. I feel Squid is overly aggressive because he will jump on or chase Max at any time. I don't know if it's territorial or if Squid "plays" too rough. Squid has a LOT of energy. I want both my cat boys to be happy and healthy.

A few things I've considered:

1 - get Squid a cat wheel to see if he'll run away his energy and not direct it toward Max
2 - try a pheremone diffuser
3 - try "calming" cat chews, treats, or similar
4 - do nothing and hope Squid grows out of it...

Does anyone have thoughts or suggestions?

All of the above are great options to try! Kittens just have SO much energy it’s crazy.

I have the same somewhat issue with the age difference in my cats. I have a two year old male Sphynx and a 13 year old Devon Rex female. My male loves to jump all over the female who has become a good Mike Tyson and doesn’t put up with much. She puts him in his place. I am waiting for his new brother to be born as it has become apparent that he needs a playmate. He’s stuck to me like glue mostly but does get excess male energy and tried to dominate the female. He won’t allow me out of the house outside or normal working hours. He has separation anxiety and isn’t afraid to tell me off when leaving or getting home after those hours. I’m hoping a new little brother will help because my female doesn’t have a long life left.

please know that it’s all just play for your Sphynx. Eventually they will find their happy place. Your Siamese is a smart cat and being the dominate in the house I’m sure he knows how to set his boundaries when he gets overwhelmed. My male Devon Rex (brother to my female) loved kittens and would tolerate the youngster because he knew he was a baby.
