my Sphynx drinks coffee!

Hello Everyone! My one Sphynx girl, Nefertiti, is always trying to get into my coffee cup! She doesn't bother any other type of drink, but when I have coffee, she is constantly trying to lap some up!! The other day, she stuck her tongue in my coffee & it was still hot - she backed away QUICK! Yesterday, I could hardly believe my eyes - she approached my cup, & actually batted in the coffee as if to see if it was hot! What a smart girl! (But a pest!)

Mr. Peabody loves coffee too! But he will also drink anything I'm having--hot tea, soda, juice, you-name-it.

My Moses is partial to water in ANY container, iced tea, Dr. Pepper, Coke and dishwater. He hates the sound of a soda opening though, for some reason it scares the bejeezus out of him! He'll run away from it and won't go near an open soda bottle!

I think it's awfully smart though tht she tested the temperature of the coffee! Maybe she's a half-caf-skinny-iced-latte-extra-whip kind of girl. I''m more of a venti soy mocha frappucino, no whip kind of girl myself.

Smart girl! Lucifer doesn't go for coffee, but whenever my boyfriend opens up a can of energydrink he's all over it. He's also been known to sneak at our beers naughty boy!

Darcy will drink/eat anything. He is nightmare! I left my pizza for 1 minute to go to the loo tonigh and came back and he was dragging my crust to his bowl!

Jeesh... I thought coffee wasn't good for cats or dogs. Maybe we should open a cat cafe.:Laugh: They all love to steal certain things. I got McDonalds for supper tonight. I set it down on the table & after washing my hands, I turned to find that Boone had already stolen a fry. Lil' cat burglars!

Looks like we're all have the same problem lately! My mom stopped by to work on her garden at my house the other night, so I cooked dinner while she was here, so we sat down at the table and I got up to get the salt, came back and I passed Moses in the dining room carrying a green bean! And there is my mom laughing away! She let him jump up, steal a green bean off of my plate and walk away! a single green bean of all things lol! Left the grilled pork chop!

Mine loves coffee as well. She manages just a lick, but what is safe and unsafe outside of moderation and of course alcohol. I get scared when she steals a sip of coffee. I am always chasing my kids making sure they don't leave soda cans or juice boxes laying around.

My daughter had a tom cat when she was growing up that terrorized my husband. We were all sitting at the dinner table getting ready to eat and the little monster jumped up on the table and made away with my husband's chicken fried steak before any of us could react. Everyone EXCEPT hubby burst out laughing, it was just too funny!

I don't let Tim drink anything that I am drinking, but that doesn't keep him from trying. In the winter I have an especially hard time keeping him out of my hot chocolate. He loves it! I cannot under any circumstance leave a cup unattended or he will help himself. Hot chocolate is his favorite drink to steal a sip of. Maybe it is because I drink mine with whipped cream and extra chocolate sauce on top. :Laugh:
