Hi all-
I have been feeding BitR for my one Sphynx and two dogs. It's just getting too pricey for me at this time (I'm only working PT right now):ThumbsDown: The kids all LOVE LOVE raw and I do not want to go back to kibble. I am looking into finding a better priced raw premix for now. Someone on another forum recommended Wysong's Call of the Wild. It is for both cats and dogs....felines and canines have such different nutritional needs that I don't see how this powder can accomplish both needs???
What do you guys think? Anyone use this product? Any other recommendations?

BitR has bones in it and all the other good stuff Cats need.
I dont see all those ingredients in the one you listed. Maybe i wasnt looking good enough ?
And Water intake ? I am not sure or it would be cheaper in the end for you . Did you calculate how much Your animals eat and how much You would go thru with this can ?

I don't know if it would work out cheaper for you or not, but I use the TC Feline powder (which has everything you need in it). I know that there is a version available in Canada, another in the US, and another in Europe. I love it, find it very affordable.

Take a look at Sojo's, I use it for my dog I was using for the cat but went back to BiTR. You need to buy for both but all you do is add water everything is in the bag and its freeze dried. I don't know how many pets you have but with the BiTR I use the cheapest ground meat I can find (usually turkey) The cheaper the more fat and the cats need that. My dogs love the Sojo's Hope I was helpful

I also feed BitR and it got expensive for me when my kitten started eating as much as he does a day. So I went out and found a good canned food to use with the raw so that it wouldnt hurt the wallet so much. I use grain free canned Wellness and I get it at my local pet store (natural pets supply) in a big can and I get a 10% discount if I buy 2 cases. It is almost half the cost per pound than it is to feed raw and it still has the water in it that he needs and he still gets all the goodness from his raw.

Thanks for the info. I have tired Sojo's and neither of the dogs ate it. And I did try Lambie on some canned food but her stools got really runny and smelly again:ThumbsDown:

I have since switched Lambie to Alnutrin, she likes it and it's a bit cheaper than BitR. But I'm still looking for something comparable for the dogs. :Shok:
