she continues to eat a little and is drinking her water more than anything. I just don't understand what is causing all this and more aggravating is that the vet can't figure it out either.Sorry for the delay... Ya know, I'll have to go back and look at all her paperwork they sent home, but I'm assuming they did look. They pretty much ruled out everything and they were left scratching their head on Luna. I'll check again though... Thanks for the heads up on that.I can't remember, did the Vet do a ultra sound on
her stomach and colon?
Just wondering, if, she could have a blockage?
Prayer's for her.
This is a good idea, but our bill is so high from our vet right now... We can't afford to take her in again, right now anyways. Over the last few days, the poo has hardened up, but she isn't peeing consistently with the amount of water she drinks. I haven't scooped pee out of her litter for a few days now. But she is eating a little and drinking a lot of water. I just can't afford to take her in right now. She continues to take her medication to keep the levels good and we will just have to see how she does. It's tough and we all hope she pulls through. Im really curious as too what she went through before we got her.Maybe try a different vet for a second opinion? You can show them the test results from your vet![]()
Our vet actually works with 2 other Vets in the building and they all had a chance to work with Luna and give their input. None of them know what's going on. She hasn't thrown up lately, and the poop has hardened, but now she isn't peeing. This is all very frustrating... And it's been very expensive. Thanks for the advice though... That's always greatly appreciated!@bluejay1919 , awhhh ...Continued healing vibes sent
Does you vet consult with colleagues?
Perhaps a second opinion
Be sure she stays hydrated
My vet presscibed my Toby Cerenia I'm the past -
It's for dogs but vets often dose it according for kitties while figuring out the underlying cause of vomitting - Toby got the pill version dosaged by my vet
It helped right away - just wamted to pass it on
sendimg prayers for answers and relief soon
Thank you so much!@bluejay1919 I'm obviously coming late into the conversation, so I'm sending double the love vibes and chin rubs for your beloved Luna. I really hope she gets better soon!!!
Thank you for continuing to send your healing vibes our way. Luna is still eating a little everyday and drinking tons of water. As far as the diarrhea, that comes and goes. Sometimes she will have a day of many bouts of diarrhea and then the rest of the week is normal bowel movements. She is not throwing up as much. She threw up a few days ago and before that it was a while too. I think things are looking up for her. We are paying monthly on her vet bill, which is not fun. But hopefully she is fine from here on out. We will see what happens when we let her out of our bathroom.@bluejay1919 , looking forward to positve updates for Luna
