Hi,

I'm new here. My name is Emmanuelle, I'm 29 and I live in France with my husband, my two sons (5 and 2 years old) and Chatouille our persian kitten.

I really like sphynx cats and i'm going to adopt an F3 sphynx outcross with... fur. She arrives this sunday

Well, I like the sphynx hairless, but my husband kept telling me: "it's not a cat, it's not a cat" (He might have watched friends too many times) when I was looking for another kitten.
May be next time, we'll take a real sphynx as he changed his mind when we went to see our kitten at the breeder's house and he found out that sphynxes are great and loveable cats.

I'll post some pictures of my kittens together when Iowa will be here and as soon as they'll get along

Iowa (my F3 kitten) is the blue and white one she's with her sister (hairless) and brother (furry cream one)


Hope that you won't mind me joining the forum even if my f3 sphynx is hairy.

Welcome to the forum. I replied to your other post as I have an F1 and 2 F2's.
I have a strange question for you, if you know the answer. Are you sure she is an F3? Normally F1's are all Furry, F2's are 1/2 the litter furry, half Hairless, F3's are NORMALLY all hairless, sometimes a furry sneaks thru. But I have never seen so many furry's in an F3 litter.

Just in case some don't know.
F1 - Sphynx X Furry = 1/2 Sphynx

F2 - F1 (1/2 sphynx) X Sphynx = 3/4 Sphynx

F3 - F2 (3/4 sphynx) X Sphynx = 7/8 Sphynx

She's an f3, they are 5 in this litter 3 furry and 2 hairless. In fact my breeder's F2 is a furry one and the kitten mum is a PB sphynx. So half the litter is furry
