I reflected on the photos. I can see he has dirty ears and we all know how dirty they can be... but, the eyes are watery and it looks like they're running, or is it just skincolor I see? I have to ask the breeder about this. I'm no expert but if this little guy had to be fed partially by humans, does that mean that the cat mommy doesn't take care of all her babies now? Like cleaning and so on. In that case I would think the humans should clean. I know, I know, I'm a nervous Nellie when it comes to my babies...:banghead::sorry:

I worry a lot about things that I can't see and they can't tell me. It's good to be vigilant.

@Zab he looks very good to me. His ears are not very dirty for a kitten. When I visited my boys as kittens I saw the ears of my boys be cleaned and when I left a few hours later they were dirty like they were never cleaned before

Does he refuse to drink with his mommy? Or is his mommy not allowing him to drink. Ross refused to drink from his mommy. She still took care of him and cuddles with him just like with the others

What I know for now is that the cat mommy had trouble taking care of all her babies so a girl and this boy was partially fed by humans and then grew bigger than the rest of their sisters. But I'm gonna ask about this, for sure...
I know how dirty they can be, like on bath days. An hour after the bath you can't even see that they had a bath...
I'm not used to this, I only know pink cat and black cat.

I think this is where a knowledgeable breeder makes a difference. You expect that a knowledgeable breeder would know when to let the momma cat handle it and when to step in and help with feedings, bathing, etc. It never hurts to ask the breeder questions and see if the answers justify the trust you place in them.

I'm a difficult cat buyer for sure... the breeder has been so nice and open with everything. She also comes with good references from Siiris breeder. They work together on breeding sphynxes and rexes. I have a good gut feeling but I do ask tons of stuff before committing to anything. I guess it's just a result of being burned in the past, I guard my heart.

Asked the breeder about everything and she told med that two in the litter didn't want to feed at first but started after they fed them for a while. The cat mommy takes good care of them all and everyone is healthy! And he has "eyeliner", no runny eyes...She had some visitors today and they wanted the boy so I had to make a decision... It's the breeders Y-litter so on paper he might be called Yatzy or Your favorite martian, kinda cool...
