I've had my baby for 3 weeks now and I'm loving every minute, well except for when he wakes me up at 3 in the morning, lol. We have been having a problem of literally running into each other. If I get up to go somewhere he runs right behind me and if I turn around to go another direction he slams right into my shin. It's not a soft hit either...my shin even hurts after he hits it. I'm scared because it's a head on hit and I don't want to hurt his little skull or brain!

Any suggestions for our problem?

Welcome to sphynxlair good to have you. Train yourself to always watch when
you turn and walk, always look, before. Because, most of the time, he will
follow you, be, into everything you are, because, you will have, to have, his help.
Or, it can't be done:smuggrin: So get trained.

Hi & welcome to the Lair! Your baby is mighty cute and that collar looks great too. Be sure to take it of when you go to bed or leave the house though, he might chafe if he wears it all the time.

Good tip about taking it off at bedtime or when Im not home. I was afraid something like that could happen with such sensitive skin.
Yep it's a breakaway, and now I can tell where he is instead of him trying to sneak attack me!

As you can see from my picture Tulah used to wear a collar as well. It never caused any issues with her skin, she just finally got tired of it and would always take it off herself. I have to constantly look where I am stepping, sitting, laying etc. You never know where a nekkid kitty might be. They love to get in to things to snuggle and stay warm, things you wouldn't expect them to be in. My pillow is a perfect example. It had a pillow case on it and there was a lump in my pillow cuz Margo Mae was inside of the pillowcase with the pillow....:p

Your baby is beautiful! Welcome!
