Oh awesome a cat flap! I'm sure they will love it once they figure it out. Looks great you will have to update on who figures it out first

Thank you ever'buddy! But I will NEVER go out that hole!!! At least not until Daddieo gets tired of shoving me through the hole! Stinky Markie seems to think it might be pretty cool, but he is pretty silly anyhoo!!! We will let ya'll know all about our adventures wit' th' Hole in the Window!

Hi Cleo, that looks like the strangest thing ever. A hole in a window? We would mommy and daddy do that? My mommy says you can go through it to go to the catio and go back in the house when you want. Well that sounds fun. But I don't know if I would trust that hole. Better let Marcus go through it so you can see if you can trust the hole.

It will eat you.

Do you think mum would build one in my stable? That looks like fun! You could pull on it and make it go "SNAP" all night!

If we can we make sure only I can go out of it, and the other two have to stay inside, then I want one.

Dear Queen Cleo,

I completely understand your hesitation. Mother and father put one in their bedroom door. The theory was that we could come and go as we pleased while keeping the door closed in order to regulate temperatures. However, I found that the device was not very kind to my slow-moving body and tail. As a result, mother and father gave up and simply removed the flap while maintaining that little hole that we could traverse through without issue.

I also sympathize with the methods of coaxing us through – treats on the other side, shoving, calling our name and all kinds of other silliness. I did not like that little door.

Hoping you fare better than I did.

In sympathy,
Max

Hi everybody
Julie here-Cleo is sleeping off the stress of a bath this morning. Well, after almost 3 days, Marcus comes IN the flap with no problem at all. However, going OUT requires yelling at us, making one of us go in the bedroom with him and hold the flap so he can go out....Someday soon (very soon) he had better figure out that he can take himself out the door!

Cleopatra will go OUT the flap, again if we hold it for her, but the only way she comes IN, is to have one of us go outside and literally usher her through the flap. The funny thing about her is that we have one that goes to the garage. Before Cleo came, the catboxes were in the garage, so all our cats used it. Cleo actually learned to use it by watching the others, but we blocked it off because she could get into too much trouble out there. So she actually KNOWS how to use a flap, she just has to remember.....

Oh dear, oh dear. I hope it gets sorted soon. Max and Min flatly refused to figure out the door flap. In Max's defence though, he went so slow that it pinched his tail. We tried the "holding open" routine and after a while it was just so cumbersome we took the flap off and now have a nice little open cat door in our bedroom door. LOL
