My life with sphynx started so well. After my first boy I waited over 6 months for my little girl. Every baby photo sent from the breeder had me in whoops of joy followed by sending everyone I knew a email of the pic!! I only had her a short while before she was diagnosed with an enlarged heart. At only 24 weeks old she was too small for any opps even thou I had the very best in my country on her case it wasn't ment to be. Even thou I had had her only a short time she was very special and very much loved. She was put down in my hands and laid to rest. She had so much fight in her but no one can win with a broken heart. I always find comfort in this poem
"if it should be that I grow old and weak,and pain should keep me from my sleep
Then you must do what must be done, for this last battle can't be won
You will be sad-I understand, dont let this grief then stay your hand
For this day more than all the rest, your love for me must stand the test
We've had so many happy years,what is to come can hold no fears
You'd not want me to suffer so,the time has come-please let me go
Take me to where my needs they'll tend,and please stay with me till the end
Hold me firm, speak to me, until my eyes no longer see
I know in time that you will see ,the kindness that you did for me
