How long have you had your babies for ??? Are you happy with your current vet? I mean mine is good but they just don't know enough about this breed .... I mean heck I don't even know enough about them. I lean more and more in this site everyday

Most vets don't know enough about the sphynx breed. So I think as long as your vet wants to learn about the breed and wants to listen to what you have to say, then you have a good vet. I'm very lucky with my vet cause she's a breeder of sphynxs. The father of my boys lives at her house
. I do have my boys Toa and Ross for 1 year now. And my girl April since 5 days!
When my boys came to live with me I hardly knew anything about sphynxes. Sometimes I really paniced cause I didn't know what to do. The peoples from sphynxlair pulled me through. Still learning everyday!

Can you send me a msg of who your vet is ... If she's a breeder /vet she would know best I assume. Is she close to the areas I mentioned ??? And taking new clients?? I would love to know more. I take Nigel to a place in Thornhill but I live in maple

Do you find a personality difference between the males and your female ? Is one more loving then the other? I find Nigel super loving but boy does he get himself in trouble. He's always busy doing something lol

I've not had a boy, but, the ones that do, say, they, are loving.
But, my Izmae, she is full of love, cuddling, talkative,
and ROTTEN!!!!!!

I can imagine your head has been all over the place. Really hope you find a good vet somewhere close. Or at least a vet who's willing to learn about the breed!

I can't bash my vet as they have been super helpful and are still more educated when it comes to animals then I am. Nigel had surgery today and I can't wait to hold him in my arms. If it weren't for them he wouldn't be on his road to recovery. I hope he heals quickly
