outcrossing?

Hi all! This is the first time posting my own thread

Everyone seems really knowledgeable and I was wondering if anyone had any information on outcrossing. I was thinking about buying a little outcross so I did a little research (for genetics and why out crossing should be done etc) and i noticed that all outcrosses that I found are done by a sphynx male and a "haired" female. Anyone know why this would be? I'm assuming it would be because the female sphynx might be too small to carry or birth a DSH or ASH litter (???), but thats just a guess. It just caught my attention and was wondering if its just a fluke or is it how its done? Also, if anyone owns a outcross if they could give me some information as to the temperament, health, shedding etc? Thank you!

I think the Harry Female is just a fluke. I have seen many Hairless Females and Harry males.

What would you like to know about the outcrosses? I have an (F1) and 2 (F2)'s. They run and play just like there Purebreed Aunts and Grandpa. My F2 loves to lay beside me in my chair or behind my neck, just like his grandpa.

F1's are always harry, F2's may or may not be. I have one of both. You can go to my album and see them all.

Ok Thanks! I just wasn't sure why I was seeing this when I would do my search. Your babies are beautiful! I just wanted to know if they had the same temperament or not. All the breeding sites I have been to have said they are the same as bare sphynx's but I just wanted to hear from a "mother/father" (owner) rather than someone selling them Thank you so much!
