Peeing on Cardboard

Just looking to get some input. My Sphynx male has recently decided to pee on cardboard. Scratching posts to just boxes. He is eating, drinking & very active. Shows no signs of issues when using the kitty box. Anyone have any suggestions?

@Missymayhem Is he neutered? Any changes in house, litter? Etc. Check the info center , there is the topic thread about going outside litter box. Always recommend contacting vet to rule out uti etc. Members will surely chime in

He is neutered. I was working from home for almost a week. Not sure if they messed with him or not. . I will definitely heck out the other thread.

@Missymayhem , here is the link. you can call your vet and ask if wellness check/ urine test to rule out any possibility of a UTI? etc. my vet gave me a complimentary "zorb" kit to get a urine sample to catch at home and drop off.

Sphynx pooping or peeing outside the litter box

It can be very frustrating when a cat/kitten starts not using the litter box. The first thing to do is see your vet to rule out a UTI (urinary tract infection) if your cat see is peeing outside of the litter box. A urinary infection can become very serious very fast if it is not treated quickly...
