Petco adventure!

Today my 2 best friends and I took my 4 month old kitten to Petco. This kitten has no fear, so I wasn't worried about her. She played with a puppy & stared at the birds. We got her a little harness and leash & attempted to walk her through the store. That was a huge FAIL! More like drug her through the store. She did not like that one bit.. Haha. She eventually got used to it & was walking all over & exploring. Now we are home, homework is done & she is one EXHAUSTED kitty. She is all currled up on my lap. Note to self: Petco=sleepy kitty. Haha.

I love when exotic or rare breeds come to Petco! We always try to see them and give them treats or even a picture! I hope you had a great time there and I'm glad your kitty got tired!

Milo gets really anxious, but he loooves watching the fish and the birds...

What a great Adventure!! Your girl looks so cute in her harness and leash. A word of warning though, this will very quickly become her favorite destination! Cleopatra goes every weekend and loves it. Last weekend, she decided to test all the tallest cat posts. We had a really hard time getting her off the posts and back to her stroller! I think she is still sulking a bit because Bob would not let her bring her favorite post home . BTW another member, Nofuratu, has taught her Sphynxes to walk and even jog on their leashes for long distances. You might want to do a search of Lair posts to find where she describes how she did it. It's pretty amazing!

Hipo LOVES Petco adventures. I actually take him there every two weeks for a nail clipping (it is only USD 10 and he is much better for them than me, not too mention I can do my regular shopping too)
I always harness Hipo and have the leash, he sometimes walks but other times he prefers me to carry him in the basket.
We are regulars at my local Petco so they love when he comes in. My favorite is when parents are there with there kids and they want to pet and touch him. I think its great when we get to educate ppl on what a sphynx is like in person and how they feel etc. So many ppl just have no idea how amazing they are
