Pickup Day!

Hey Everyone! Well, I've been here since about August and today is the day I finally get my first Sphynx! Its currently 6am central time and I'm about to head out into the car for the next 4 hours to pick up my kitten. Then 4 hours back home!! I can't believe how excited I am - I will update this thread pics!

Thanks all! We made it home safely. I had her all tucked in to her carrier, but after 5 mins wanted out, I opened up a flap and she pretty much came strait to me and wanted a snuggle. She then slept the whole way home in my lap! Truly amazing. She is so much smaller than I expected, only because the pictures make her look big.


I happened to have the sun falling across my lap so I'm sure that was a bonus, but I was rubbing then she fell asleep in my hand! So cute. I sat with her to show her the litter box, and toys. Took to the scratching post, hopefully that's a good sign! I then got her set up in her cat bed. I have the pet safe heating pad in there. Sat with her while she fell asleep, and snuck out to update ya'll! I'm so excited. Can't wait for the hubs to come home to meet her, and help me keep an eye on her!
