Hi Lairians!
I've never felt so strongly about a vet's office before.
Greenfield Veterinary Hospital once again blew my socks off!
On April 18th Miss Morticia went in for her spay surgery. She was doing the song of her people. At epic volume. At all the wrong times. Ugh.
So of course, I was nervous sphynx mom wreck. I didn't have to be.
I dropped her off, signed the consent forms, and here's exactly what happened:
1. Monnica was awesome! So kind and calming.
2. The Dr. Winnie HIMSELF placed the IV into Morticia. No blown vein, no big honking bruise!!!!!
3. I got CONSTANT texts (When she went into surgery, immediately after surgery, a picture text when she was in recovery moving OFF the heating pad, another text telling me what an amazing little love she is.)
4. I got a phone call from Dr. Winnie telling me about Morticia's surgery, what to expect, everything!
5. I picked Tishy up, she was awake, alert, clinging to her daddy, completely un-phased, had to give Daddy and Me TONS of Squishy kisses!
6. Her surgery scar is going to be about HALF the length of Elvira's. It's amazing.
7. Her stitches were under the skin and she hasn't pestered them or gone after them even once! Elvy hasn't even bothered with it because its so completely not bothering Morticia.
All in all they treated my baby girl with amazing kid gloves and treated me the exact same way.
Love these guys so incredibly much!!!
