To all my sphynxlair friends I am calling on you desperately to send some healing prayers for binx.
Last night he was running around like a lunatic, this morning I couldn't find him (he always sleeps in my bed) . Found him downstairs, it appears he has suddenly gone blind. He is freaking out and every noise makes him jump out of his skin. He is panting really hard and dribbling.
Brian started acting weird like this at the start of all his problems :( I'm so worried its his heart like poor Brian as they were litter mates.
My husband has rushed him to the emergency out of hours vets. I feel like I will never stop crying :(

Oh no Emily. Maybe having an idea of what happened to Brian can help Binx. Sending huge prayers your way. Please keep us posted.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I was hoping things would get better for you after everything you went through with Brian :Sad:

Really got my fingers crossed that little Binxy will pull through. Hang in there little guy!! Keep us updated!!

How is Khaleesi btw? She is from a different litter right? Hope she is doing OK and keeping you company during this tough time x

Khaleesi Is lovely, she's playing by herself at the moment as binx is staying at the vets. She's from a different litter thank goodness. She is very clever and very sweet. She is extremely confident!
Binx temp is 39.9 and the vet was unable to examine him as he took a chunk out of the vet and my hubby. He is acting so frightened :( they have given him an injection to bring his temp down to hopefully be able to examine him. They might have to sedate him if it doesn't work :(

So the vet said his temperature has come back down. He is going to sedate him now and take a swab from the back of his throat as he has some secretions there. He is also taking blood tests. I asked them to take a chest X-ray but he said he would need a general anaesthetic for that and he didn't think that would be wise at the moment.
He's going to treat him as though he has a bacterial upper respiratory infection. I hope to god this is the right diagnosis- I've already been through all of this false hope. I'm starting to think ill never have a healthy Sphynx :( I feel numb and lost

OMG, Emily. I can't believe what I'm reading. What the heck is going on?
I will be thinking of you all day until I hear an update and I will be praying for poor Binx. OMG, OMG! I just can't imagine you going through this all over again now.
