Some progress made - binx 'chirruped' at me and let me pick him up , he then purred he's eaten a little bit and I've seen him do a wee which is great as he was catheterised at the vets. He's still very cautious of us - maybe he thinks we did this to him as he keeps flinching at every sound and touch. He is also meowing like when he first lost Brian and looking around . I'm wondering if cats can have mental breakdowns??

His eyes are a bit weepy but we have eye drops he's been snuggled up to me till now. My youngest son came home and the noise is a bit much for him right now

Binx slept with me all night and is purring his head off! He even did that cute twist onto his back starting with his head and his 'chirrup' asking for a belly rub !!

Hiya, I made a new thread saying binx is doing so much better I would say he is 90% back to binx!
I'm worried that he is 1)either grieving about Brian or/and 2) he has something neurological going on. Everything you go to touch him he jumps as though he didn't know it was going to happen- immediately afterwards he is calm and loving again - it's just that first time . Maybe he has so many tests at the vets and he is just freaked out?? He also spends a lot of time crying out and searching - if I call him and he can see me he stops doing it. He wasn't ever this much of a cryer - he always just chirruped at me for attention. He only started crying when Brian died khaleesi has stopped a lot of the continuous crying tho bless her. They are good friends now
