I have a 5mnth old pedigree kitten. And over the last few days yellow puss has been coming out of her eyes. She is sleepy more than usual and is eating less. Please help ? Is this normal? , should I take her to the vet?

Hi yes, any yellow or green discharge is not normal and can indicate an infection. Take her in as soon as you can.

Agree with everyone about yellow (and green) aren't normal colors to have. Your kitten may even have a fever being that she's sleeping a lot too. The vet will give the proper medicine(s) to make her all better.

Hope you update us on how your baby is doing. If it is a URI, which many have gotten as kitten, you might look into L-Lysine as something to add to daily routine in the future if you have not done so already. Positive thoughts sent your way.
