Poop

Haha soo from what I can find I guess it's normal, but Stella has only pooped twice since she's been here (late Saturday night) Is this normal? Maybe I am not feeding her enough? 1/3 cup 2-3 times a day seems to keep her happy. I'm making her raw diet, currently chicken.

That's not very much food. She needs more. They need it too
because their metabolism, and helps to keep them warm.
She needs to be fed three times a day, if possible.
If not, then, twice.

Ok, thank you This is all new to me. I just gave her another meal so that makes 3 today.

We feed 2 small cans a day and leave out kibble all day. She may be getting use to her surroundings, perhaps a new food? I would just keep an eye on it for now. Perhaps a little pumpkin, not the pie filler type.

I feed Piper raw chicken about 9 oz. a day split up into 4 meals a day. That is as much as she can eat in a day.

Also, she only poops once a day from the raw.

I've been feeding Max (also on a raw diet) four times a day, as much as he'll eat in 20 minutes. When he was 4 months old he ate just over 8 oz. (.4 lb) per day. Then he quickly upgraded to 16 oz. per day and is now eating from 16 oz. - 24 oz. per day. I'd definitely feed Stella more if she'll eat, and more frequently.

Max poops twice a day but used to only poop about once a day.

Thank you guys Its more feasible for me to do 3 meals a day when I'm working, but I'll up the amount! She's eating about 8 oz a day right now I'll try adding an ounce to each meal and see if she will eat it

It just depends on my schedule too but if I go home for lunch I make it 4 meals a day. I feed her at 70 a.m., 120 p.m, 50 p.m and sometimes 90 p.m.

I have been feeding our little one (also on raw) 4oz about 3 times a day. She doesn't eat all of the 2nd meal and so far has had 1 large poop and the rest are small nuggets a few times since she came home, also late Saturday evening. I think she is eating about 10oz a day currently.
