Requesting Lair prayers for Pablo. He is getting surgery today on a suspected foreign body obstruction. I have no idea what he could’ve eaten but he did vomit a hairball the size of a golf ball in the early hours of Saturday morning. I have never heard of a dog with hairball issues before but it is just my luck.

Thank goodness for pet insurance and care credit!

Thanks Tammy! He’s going to be hospitalized for at least 48hrs for recovery barring any complications.

Otis loves to snuggle with Pablo. I have so many pics of the two of them. Melts my heart.

Pablo did well over night and will be discharged this evening! Thank you all for the support! It was quite a stressful day. Especially since he is not my troublemaker. (That title goes to Otto and Otis iykyk lol!) Otis will be happy to have his best buddy home.

Oh yay…so happy to see this update. I wanted to message you, but I know how stressful these things are..and the last thing you need is added pressure. I would have given in tomorrow morning lol.

Pablo is coming along nicely! I was so tired last night that I missed his medicine. He seems to be just fine without the gabapentin but I do want to complete his antibiotics. So I gave him his evening dose this morning and will give him his final dose tomorrow morning.
