She's absolutely stunning! So happy to read that her levels all seem normal. Sometimes thats almost worse since theres no distinct reason that she lost all that weight. Hopefully the prescription diet plumps her back up in no time

Glad to hear all blood results came back clear. Can imagine you still worry because of the weight loss. Remember my boy Toa lost a lot of weight too. Changed his food and now he's chuncky Toa again.

I am glad nothing bad showed in the tests, did the vet say what else could be the cause of the weight loss, if it wasn't thyroid, diabeties and kidney disease?
Any plans to try new food?

@Sheldon13 , blood work wasnt perfect but better than expected. some a little out of range and suspects early kidney disease. Macie has been on ziithromax for 5 days, 5 more to go and no change. now she is refusing to eat the A/D urgent care food. she did eat a little of the nutrisource, she is interactive talkative but the weight loss.
Vet did say it could even be cancer .
vet wants to switch to doxy if no improvement on her stuffy raspiness. she is not sneezing.
she will be near impossible to pill turns into a wild cat when picked up. she had a rough life before I adopted her in the middle of the night. took 2 months to come out from under the bed for human interaction.
she is not a cuddly girl but always affectionate talking by my side and loves and plays with the pups. she is just the sweetest till medication time.
getting worried more because she wont eat wet food now.
I did call hare today. no specific formulas for kidney health

I’m so sorry to hear of her weight loss this is frightening and very scary. I know how helpless you can feel. I’m so sorry. Maybe it’s just a case of trying to feed her absolutely anything in the world that she will want to eat. It’s also hard to hear that it could be cancer I hate it when the vets say that.

@Sheldon13 , yes, held down the zithromax she was on. vet switched her to clavomox liquid. never throws up
