Well as all of you may know we were supposed to pick up Atticus this coming Sunday. It is a 6 hour drive from where we are to go get him so we were going to leave Saturday and come back Sunday. While at dinner tonight Lisa, the breeder, called me with some terrible news. She said that he wasn't looking as good as usual and wasn't as playful. She suspects he is catching a cold. She is going to take him to the vet in the morning and see what they say, but if he is sick we will not be able to pick him up this weekend. We are trying to stay positive for our little baby and crossing our fingers that we get to bring him home this weekend. We would appreciate your thoughts and prayers.

It's good that he is still near his vet! I'm sure he will be right as rain in no time and even if you have to wait a bit longer his health is the most important thing! Praying for your baby!

Ohnooooo! I am sorry. But glad the she is taking him to the doctor. I won't be able to get Link either until next week. I hope he does not catch a cold either :(

Aww it's good she's let you know instead of giving you a sick baby, he's in good hands I'm sure he will bounce back in no time

Hopefully, you can still take him home this weekend. Getting Atticus better is the main thing right now. Glad your breeder is having him checked out though.
Good luck.

Dave...

This happens more than you think. Best to leave him there until he gets over the cold--the stress of going to a new home can cause URI issues as it is. Praying for Atticus--get well soon, Sweet Boy!

I am worried because I was not able to get Link this weekend. We are going next Sunday for sure. But worries me that he get sick. I am assuming the just as humans can get a cold from another human, cats can get sick from each other. Can Link get sick??

Will keep you and Atticus in our thoughts! I know it is so awful when the little naked babies are under the weather... If they could just talk to us and let us know what is wrong!!
