Way to go Emma! Lucifer & Samael send purrs & kisses on top of mine. This is a great first step on the way to recovery and I can only hope the rest goes just as smoothly. Looking forward to your post-visit update.

So we got a HUGE SUPRISE....she is in the car and coming home TODAY!!!! They were so impressed with her recovery, she's eating everything and they felt it was best for her to get home and let her recovery continue in a familiar environment.

She's in the back seat with me and purring up a storm. She started when we got in the car and she realized she was coming home. She hasn't stopped for 10 minutes!

Pics to come once we get her home and comfy!!!!

That's awesome!!!! I forgot to tell you, do some research on turmeric extract. It has cancer fighting properties. One of my friends found out about it when her cat was diagnosed. Not a cure but might help to supplement.

Yippee! Home is the best place to recover surrounded by all things familiar. (Plus lots less worry for mom & dad.) She'll be up & around in no time!

So Emma got a special visit from her favorite cousin, Carrigan. All she wanted to do was to cuddle and love her. When I asked her if her mom and daddy told her what happened, she said "yes...and Emma is strong and is going to make it" Brought a tear to my eye.

She had her dinner and started to try licking her surgery spot so the baby onsie has gone on. She wasn't really pleased, but is now laying down in it and seems quite happy with the warmth.

Finally, the vet said that it would take her 5-6 days before pooping. Well she was sniffing around the bathroom after her early dinner and Mark brought her the litter dish. Grown men do not produce the 3 logs she let lose. They were all solid and she did not seem to struggle at all. We are thinking since the surgery was in her upper tummy that is why, but boy my little girl is quite the over achiever.

I will spare you the picture from the litter dish :wtf:
