Just out of curiosity, how much have you paid for your sphynx? I'm just interested in comparing the pricetag to what it usually costs here where I live. I'm talking about a kitten from a breeder with all the papers of course... naturally the price is different for a cat that needs rehoming, one that's older or one from a "whoops litter" so to speak...

@Zab, hello across the miles!
My rehome adoptee was originally US $4300 - I paid $650 as a rehome/adoptee all records, papers , HCM Scans, etc

Kittens you ask of I see here typically $1000 $1500

Sure others with breeding experience will chime in

Generally $1000.00 - $1200.00, but I have easily seen the price of a sphynx in excess $2500.00. :greedy:

I lucked out and found a TICA breeder that charges $800 for a pet, $700 for the second if you buy more than one. It's $2000 if you want breeder rights. She wanted to charge less and give more people the chance to own a Sphynx.

In the UK I paid around £600/£650 from what I remember. Which I think is around $900/$1000 or just slightly less. But that was nearly 7 years ago.

Both my boys cost £700 each which is about $1052 in today's exchange rate and best £1400 I've ever spent

We paid $800 USD for Hattie, $600 USD for Sobe (2nd adoption discount) here in Kansas City and Raskol was airline/travel fees from Canada to Chicago. Well worth EVERY penny!

Hairy was the last of her litter and all mates were gone and the person who had Hairy reserved changed their mind so we only paid 1200 us dollars , normal that Breeder charged 1600 or more.
Rooka was absolutly FREE , she was from our Vet who rescued her , she couldnt give her all the attention she needed and wanted great Petparents for her and choose us :cat::cat::cat::cat::cat: yay us !!

I gave the money to the breeder and the next second I was rich...two cute boys in my arms!
