We just added a Sphynx kitten to our family on Monday. The breeder has him eating Purina Kitten Chow which I don't approve of, so we will start switching to another food soon.
I do have a senior car that I switched to homemade raw a few months ago and he is doing Fantastic on it, he thinks he's a kitten again! I would like to try is with the Sphynx kitten but I do have some questions.
The recipe I use is very simple. I order whole ground chicken from Hare Today Gone Tomorrow and mix in some Alnutrin supplement (also from Hare Today) and freeze in individual containers.
Now my questions:
Do you need different supplements for kittens and cats on the raw diet described; or different amounts?
How many mealtimes should the kitten have and how much food at each?
Is it ok to leave out dry kibble in case he gets hungry between meals? If so I would feed Taste of the Wild (my dogs love their food) or try Orijon (sp).
Ok, thanks in advance for your help!
